Is this a bug or glitch?????

Glitch, dont worry. Every board comes up with some random figure. I've had fans spinning at several hundred thousand RPM before...

As James said, these programs are always a little buggy.
My laptop's CPU can sometimes be read as running at over five thousand GHz.

I think I am just going to use Asus Thermal Radar & RealTemp for monitoring. I don't want HW Monitor giving me bogus numbers...

i wouldn't worry about t input, no one really uses anything other than core temps, fan rpm,
voltage values for referencing.

HW Monitor is the best for the actual figures you need - core voltage, cpu temps, gpu voltage and gpu temps, whereas the ASUS software is iffy with these figures.

The motherboard temps dont matter so much anyway

Gotcha. So with an over-clocked system is it always a good idea to keep this program up and running to keep an eye on things at ALL times?

Or only when doing stuff that is putting the system under full load?

Nah, not at all. After you've done your stress testing etc. you should be fine. The occasional check if there's a big temperature change (weather wise) and you should be fine.
