CPU temperature question

Again with the double posting...

Its been said before, it is not possible to tell you whether or not that temps should be higher or lower, as there are many factors as to what could deteremine the operating temperature. Be it airflow, room temps, thermal compund application/quality etc etc

Some people are more than happy to let their components run at 90c+, it depends on what your prefences are. However seening as how your temps are under 80c (my personal limit) who cares? its not really going to change anything...

As for the temps, going from the motherboard temp I'd say the ambient temps are roughly 19 - 22C, those CPU temps look fine to me, nice and controlled.

Nice deductive skills there, wouldnt have thought to use the motherboard temps :p

On a side note, how come your main rig turned into the G3258 again, didnt you build and i5 or something?

huh, my bad then, must be mixing my info up haha. I was actually thinking of the Pentiums for a file server/backup gaming PC, how is do you find it? They seem quite interesting.

I am looking at i5's at the moment possibly a 4690K, but I'm not sure, got a while to go yet before I upgrade again.
