CPU Core Voltage not the same from the BIOS!

Hello guys, i'm new in Overclock and i watched the Tom video about overclocking the LGA 1155 platform. But i have a doubt... i set the CPU Core Voltage to 1.075V to test with my I7 3770k running at 4.2Ghz.
The question is that when i start doing my stress testing with OCCT, the OCCT, CPU-Z and CPUID shows that my Vcore is 1.1V or 1.096V. Is that normal or my Voltage should be 1.075V as my BIOS ?

My Specs:

I7 3770k
Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
GTX 680
16GB Kingston HyperX 2133Mhz

Thanks, and sorry for my bad english.

Have you got the llc set to extreme? if so that can be normal

Yeah i set the llc to extreme like Tom said to do on the video :p...
And another question, my CPU is working with 1.065V, no problem working with low voltages in a long term ?!

Thanks for the help, i'm starting to understand a little bit more of overclocking :)

OBS: I notice that i posted in the wrong place, sorry for that...

Yes working with lower voltage is perfectly safe. The lower the voltage the safer it is in fact. Just make sure that you have enough volts for a stable system.

I'm using OCCT to do the stress test, but for how many hours i've got to do the test to be sure that my system is stable ?

Thank you for the help!

Hey guys, I started the test of 8 hours on the CPU with OCCT, but after 18min the test stopped because the core#0 reached 126 degrees! But i was also running CPUID, and there my max temps were:

Core#0: 64
Core#1: 65
Core#2: 65
Core#3: 64
Package: 67

Now my CPU is set for 4.2Ghz with 1.07V.

Can be any program error reading my temps ?
I'll wait until answers to try testing again.

Thx

I tried again, I've done a 8h45min stress test with the OCCT but this time without AVX Capable Linpack. Max temps were:

Core#0: 62
Core#1: 62
Core#2: 63
Core#3: 64

What do you think about my temps ?!

Obs: I live in Brazil and in the last days have been really hot.

Your temps are fine but you should be running it with AVX! Yes AVX will make you run hotter but that is because your CPU is working harder.

You can try other programs to compare the temps if you are concerned. HWinfo64 is another good one.

What temperature is your room roughly?

Yeah i'm using HW Monitor to be sure about the temps. And i'm not sure about the temperature in my room, maybe 23-26 degree...

I'll try the 8h test again, this time with AVX.

Thanks for the help guys!! :)

just btw this is in the wrong section.

Yeah i know, my apologies for that.

Guys i'm experiencing some issues with google chrome after my overclock. I'm not sure if this is connected but my google chrome is freezing my pc several times. I've done the stress test with OCCT again, this time with AVX on. I run it for 11 hours and no problems at all.

I'm still having a lot of crashes with google chrome, please if anyone have any idea if this a overclock issue, help me ! :)

I think it has something to do with Flash I was experiencing that too for awhile, Now my sound is bugged in flash playback =\
