CPU cooling advice

###If this is in the wrong area, can it be moved?###

Hi, first time posting so please bare with me. I am getting a new computer, and it orginally started off that i was gonna just go to a company like cyberpower or wired2fire to get it done. But as time went on and kept adjusting configuration, my friend just said "just make it yourself, quit being a p****!". Well unfortunately i am a bit of a p**** but im wanting to give it a go. Only experience ive had with the insides of a compute was adding a fan and graphics card to a machine thats a about 5 years old. And fearing im gonna balls somehting up im a little nervous, but ive watched and read as much as i could about it, and its getting to the point where im saying "FFS, just do it, i want a new computer already!"

So ive gone with a standard budget of about £1000. Over is fine (so far everytime ive gone over by about 40) and its mostly a gaming rig. Ive got a semi layout in mind which is this;

Case - Corsair 650d, or Raven RV03 (or frankly anything people would recommend as being more useful)

CPU - i5 2500k

mobo - Asus P8Z68-V or an MSI board (but dont know which)

RAM - 8GB corsair revenge (or something that is more advised)

GPU - GTX 570 (most likely the EVGA HD DS version)

PSU - corsair AX850 (maybe the AX 750 or if someone knows a more suited one)

hard drive - 1 TB samsung

optical - sony or LG (no bluray)

Now to the reason i posted it here for advice. Im having trouble with most parts, but one im most stuck on is what to go for with the cooler. Ive had people say to me go NH-d14, some go no the NH-C14, some say you dont need that just go A70, others saying go FRIO and frankly its having me going round in circles worse than any part. So what kind of thing would people suggest for this set up.

Thanks if people could help

if ur gonna overclock then silver arrow or D-14 if not I'd suggest a very budget friendly Cooler Master Hyper212+ I had one prior to my D-14 and it was very good for the $$$$$ if ur just doing one gpu the AX750 is fine

Well im intending on overclocking, probably not as extreme as experienced people would go but would be looking to do it yes. Are the bigger coolers hard to handle for someone with no experience?

edit - oh and yes im intending on just going single gpu... for now. thought for down the line i could get another card to add in. Or would it be better to just go for the next single further down the line?

Of all the heatsinks (big or small) out there, the D14 is probably one of the easiest to install.

try and go beyond looks see which has more options you want like usb 3.0 or drive bays config ya like. that might help ya decide.
