CPU cooler mounting tech specs

does anyone know where I can find the specifications (hole center to center measurements)for CPU cooler mounting for various CPU sockets?

Failing that, I can only think of going through some PDF manuals of motherboards or heatsinks to see if they're given in any of those. Noctua manuals might be a good place to start, as I imagine they give a lot of detail. Also the EK waterblocks site.
