Gibbo from OcUK.

Its not bad when your the a Product buyer for OcUK is it :D

Tbh, its got all the hardware he could wish for. Not the cooling though.

No, I said RAID make hardly any difference - Raptors (especially 150GB ones) make a real difference overall.

But it depends where you start from - if you Hitachi 250GB SATA2 drives then the difference may not be as inspiring as the cost to upgrade is - but if you have spinpoints, maxtors or SATA1 drives then it's a good upgrade to score better in this bench and PCMark.

RAID has a positive effect on PCMark - but overall I find single drives a good balance between performance, cost and ease of use.

EDITED TO REMOVE SALES PITCH.

With all the latest hardware it’s not surprising he’s at the top.

Anyway Mav it must be nice to have a bit of competition – It’s awfully lonely down here in 442th :(

Ignore the CPC ranking...remember the multiple entries from people who tweak their scores dont count.. Mav does not actual have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, for example :-p etc etc My list is more or less up to date...it`ll probably be a bit more inaccurate these days with all the new releases
