Reason I ask is I'd be interested in putting together a nice server box to have colocated which I'd pay for you if cover the colocation cost

Depends on the speed colo u want ReconGamer charges $99/mo. for 1mb async which is the same speed they use for there rented servers and they never lag...

$100-200/mo. for like 1-4mb somewhere else.
