Corsair CS450M
Hi,
I just watched the youtube video by Tiny Tom Logan on what size power supply to use and he suggested posting my rig specs for advice on wattage. Bit late in that I ordered a CS450M but I can return it if necessary. MSI Power calculator I just ran says 497w, Coolermaster says 331W??
My PC:-
Fractal Design R2 XL
3 fans
Gigabyte Z77X-UP5 TH
I7 3770 (not K)
4x4Gb DDR3 1333Mhz
GTX630
2xSata PCIEx1 cards
2xSSD 128Gb
6x2GB Hard Drives
1xDVD Drive (Not installed yet, thinking of LightScribe)
I mainly use it for programming, only thing that really stresses the processor is the Java Compiler, I have overclocked the CPU to 4.39Ghz and temps fine, currently using 340W PSU that doesn't have long enough cables for bottom mounting so it is sat in the 5.25 bays.
Can you tell me whether the 450W will be sufficient to be safe please?
Regards,
Phil
