Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4: what's the quality?

Was wondering about this (see title), since it's 50 % of the price of the same specced Dominator Platinum, which seems like a huge difference to me.

While we're at the memory subject, what is the most beneficial these days in real word usage, tighter timings or higher frequency?

Thanks Tom! Whereas looks are concerned, I really do like the LPX looks; a no-nonsense industrial kinda look if you ask me.
