The question for me personally is if the chassis will be sold separately too, could make a fun little project.

Come on lads, did I call that perfectly or what?

It's not a laptop, I guess it could be a barebones at most but I just can't see Corsair including a motherboard for some reason. AIO, SFX PSU and lots of internal features on the other hand... we all know how much Corsair George likes features.

It doesn't come with a motherboard

Bulldog Features:

Bulldog DIY kit:
Chassis - Provides a highly ventilated, stylish, compact console design that enhances the living room and keeps PC components cool.
SFX power supply - Offers high-efficiency 600 watts of power in standard SFX12V form factor that runs smooth and quiet.
Mini-ITX motherboard - Supports the latest multi-core desktop PC CPUs.
Hydro Series H5SF small form factor liquid CPU cooler - Quietly cools the fastest CPUs while exhausting heat from the chassis.
MSRP: $399
Optional: Drop-in ready liquid-cooled graphics cards will be announced soon. Upgrade kits with a Hydro Series H55 liquid cooler and HG10 graphics card cooling bracket will be available for $99.

I just read it as support for an ITX board. The pricing is insane if it includes a board, the M8 is $499 and you don't get a CPU cooler or such a nice PSU. Genuinely insane though one would expect $100 cooler, $125 PSU, $150 for the case and a little extra for the included fans and the pleasure of doing it. Could they have found room to include a $155 Asus Z97 board (pictured) in that $399 price tag.

I know what you mean JR, the price is really insane, but as i think everything apart from the mobo is made by them, they can do the insane price.

Burn the witch!!! :D

I actually really like the design, everyone on the LTT forums are bitching about it being ugly?

The mixed geometry of the case is slightly confusing, but other than that it's a promising little piece of kit.

The compact liquid cooling which exhausts out the back is also a good touch.

I see they got the name from its looks, as in "as ugly as a bulldog licking (can't swear) off a thistle".

This is a prime example of what happens when you give the apprentice a SoldWorks license. It looks like the (old school) Batmobile crashed in to PC World and came out the other side.

It's more headcrab from Half Life than bulldog.

Would you really want this under your telly?

Apologies, I shouldn't be so negative :)

Don't apologise mate. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, and they should, within reason, be respected by others.

I think, with the Bulldog, Corsair could be targeting a young crowd, as in under 22's sort of age. This sort of aggressive design is exactly what a lot of my friends (16/17) like

Fair comment! It's too easy to get hung up on what you like as opposed to what others may like. It's not an offensive design, my eyes don't bleed at the sight of it, but I do think "dinner dinner dinner dinner BATMAN!". I hope they sell loads, the more people that get in to PC's and away from consoles the better.

Hahaha, this post is just hilarious!... I can tell you're a batman nerd, or have been ^_^

Exactly! So many of my friends are console gamers, and like you said, the more people that get involved in the PC industry the better! The more possible customers/sales/revenue exists in the industry, the more the level of innovation should increase (More money to spend on R&d etc.) and in the end benefit us, the consumer.

I think if this sells well, Corsair may well bring out a more refined and mature version to cater for more people
