Corsair standard to SP120

Hi guys,

i've got a c70 case with standard fans and a h100i with standard fans

exhaust fan has been flipped for intake as with the others and the h100i fans are being used for exhaust.

If i change all the fans to SP120 performance fans will it make any difference to my temps over standard?

SP120s are pressure optimized fans for radiators and full HDD cages. If you want airflow you'll need the AF120s.

That said, there probably won't be much difference in temps, but they will be a fair bit quieter, especially when you buy the Quiet Editions.

Ok so, for my case should i replace the two fans on the back of the hdd cages with sp's and the rear intake with an af. For the h100i i should replace with sp's?

Is that correct?

Depends how many hard drives you have. If your HDD cage is mainly empty or only has one drive in it than AF120s will do more than fine. AF120 for the rear intake as well, be sure to have a dust filter though.

The Corsair H100i comes with stripped down versions of the SP120s. The Quiet Editions are more quiet though, they also have rubber mounts to dampen vibration and of course the coloured rings. The SP120 fans are specifically designed for radiators (like the H100i).
