LOL I have seen those made by a dutch inventor.. he charges like €75 for his stick.. over double the price here.. who would want to pay that!

Insane capacity, not as high a price as I expected either.

Makes my 8g voyager seem limp now.

Get one in the states next time I go I think. Sheesh all my dvd/cds and other install stuff can go rot.

Nahh bud the tranfer speeds are really bad, as with all flash drives.

But why waste money on one this size when you can get a portable (Powered solely by the USB port) 250GB hard drive for a much more reasonable price?

I've a 2GB that I generally use for carrying around small files (mostly college related).

For nearly everything else I want to carry around I use the Freecom 160GB "Toughdrive" I have.

I wouldnt mind one of these, BUT, they are so small they become easy to lose. Or am i just the kind of guy who loses everything?!?! har har

Good idea though, would use it for taking games and movies to makes, saves lugging dvds.

In my case........well I don't have one!

At work I use my mem sticks for storing drivers, software and patches etc. It's ideal for when you are in the workshop, as CD's & DVD's don't tend to last long without getting scratched or damaged in one way or another. At home I don't really use them much as my PC's are networked. It's always handy to have one or two laying about though. I have a few that have Windows XP installed on them and I use in emergencies etc.

I am considering getting one, but if I go for the one that is mentioned in the news article then it is bound to get stolen or lost somewhere and then the thought of £150 going just gives me the shivers.

I have a very small 512MB one I use for transporting coursework to and from school. The files are nothing much more than a few kilobytes, so in my instance 512MB is way more than enough.

Can`t exactly carry CD/DVDs about with me, but the pen things are ideal.

The only thing I would throw at these Voyagers as a negative is the rubber they put shrouding the stick. It gets grubby very easily, and cos of it`s bulbus-eliptical shape, can struggle to plug into some things - particularly if u already have something plugged in the port next to it.
