That bottom bar between the legs might be a huge problem... I always make sure not to have those on my desks, as in school they used to have those and you more or less always kicked your feet into them. And hence I don't think I need to explain the pain of it...

Actually we have similar desks at work, that bar is beautiful acting as a foot rest. Its the perfect height for elevation. That said, comfort will change without shoes of course.

Fair point, if you use shoes or sandles at work yes. But for home usage, I don't use that at my desk, which makes the point invalid for me unfortunately. But I do see where you are coming from though
Secret Labs desks are pretty costly too. Lian Li made some overpriced plain boards and tried to call them desks.. I guess everyone is milking us for everything they can.
If the whole market jacks up prices... eventually we start to think these are normalised and true MSRP. I ain't buying it... pun intended.
