The fittings that come out of the pump on this are straight out of the side, the aftermarket CPU coolers come out of the sides at a 90 degree angle (away from mobo) or out of the top of the pump (again away from mobo)
So swapping out would require a lot more than just changing the cooler. You'd need to mod the cover and also need a fair bit of hose to route anywhere tidy
Nice review Tom as alwaysbut is it worth going WC from air with Pascal?

In my opinion, there is no real need to water cool a single 1080 that's hitting 71°C on air.

Good review, With my 1080 Ti Hybrid, Basically the same as this model, I manage to stay around 48'c in all titles with some titles like Alien Isolation managing to stay at around 40'c with the added Corsair ML Pro fan at 1600RPM.

Nice review and nice to see this card performing nicely with the temps tamed a bit and interesting to see not much real difference between 1600 to 2500 rpm on the fan

It would be nice if Corsair braided the fan cable to match the pump hoses.

@TTL have you considered using a Tablet to have your graphs on for the reviews as it could look better than having multiple sheets of paper.

Not really man, it is indeed Asetek made but the baseplate surface is actually different.
Even if Tom managed to mod it, the contact would still be improper and require the use
of extra copper shims etc.
