Corsair Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti Review

A question could you swap out the 120 AIO with a 240 considering it's probably only an asetek AIO, maybe something like the kraken x61, H105 or H110 which have a round pump

The fittings that come out of the pump on this are straight out of the side, the aftermarket CPU coolers come out of the sides at a 90 degree angle (away from mobo) or out of the top of the pump (again away from mobo)

So swapping out would require a lot more than just changing the cooler. You'd need to mod the cover and also need a fair bit of hose to route anywhere tidy

Was just an idea, if it would be like with AM4 just changing a bracket to make it compatible obviously I was way off. ohwell something new learnt everyday

Good review, With my 1080 Ti Hybrid, Basically the same as this model, I manage to stay around 48'c in all titles with some titles like Alien Isolation managing to stay at around 40'c with the added Corsair ML Pro fan at 1600RPM.

Nice solution for tapping in that power from GPU. And i really like that Corsair is starting to put ML fans on products. Those gray generic ones are really bad.

It would be nice if Corsair braided the fan cable to match the pump hoses.

Nice review as well.

@TTL have you considered using a Tablet to have your graphs on for the reviews as it could look better than having multiple sheets of paper.:)

Nice review and nice to see this card performing nicely with the temps tamed a bit and interesting to see not much real difference between 1600 to 2500 rpm on the fan

That's a damn good idea, Could have it in white too *no apple stuff though* ^_^

Samsung Galaxy in white would look great for the channel IMO -

Not really man, it is indeed Asetek made but the baseplate surface is actually different.

Even if Tom managed to mod it, the contact would still be improper and require the use
of extra copper shims etc.

Thanks for the excellent review. Perhaps I'm being thicker than usual, but what utility are you using to control fan speeds?

Thx!
