Corsair HS50 Gaming Headset Review

No offense just constructive criticism, but this shouldn't be classed as a review. You have 1 paragraph out of 3 pages that talks about sound? What?
As someone who enjoys audio and has spent a great deal into my setup that 1 paragraph was just cringe worthy. Especially when it lacks any meaningful description of the sound and comparisons to other products. Need way more detail overall to fill the review.
Personally think this is more of an overview than a review. Not saying this was a bad article but definitely not up to the usual standards OC3D has.
All that side this looks like a good headset. Didn't see this in the article but are these closed or open back? The metal mesh suggest open back but afaik most gaming headsets are closed

These cans could be a worthy purchase for me my Panasonic HTF600's hurt my ears after a long gaming session but maybe its because I have big ears![]()
The cans arrived the day before the NDA - we made the choice to get them done asap - audio is always a subjective choice anyways. Bryan has hated some cans Ive loved and vise versa
Like with the HyperX Cloud's, these doesn't seem to be able to swiwel the earcups themselves, sideways. So the fit won't be optimal according to your heads shape.
They don't need to swivel all that much to fit a head.
Personal preference maybe, personally I can’t have a headset that doesn’t have swiwel earcups. Just doesn’t feel comfortable and feels like the headset is unbalanced on my head.
Then put it on centered? You don't need all that much swivel. It's not like your head has a 10inch radius from a protruding bone.
If you ever had quality cans from Beyer or some Senns you'd see they don't swivel much but they fit your head like oxygen fits hydrogen.
