Let's take a look at the Brand Spanking new Corsair H110i GT. A 280mm rad based AIO with Giant killing potential. Have we been waiting a while for this or what?

Corsair H110i GT Review

Cheers Tom been waiting for this review.

The silver trims on the rad and block can be removed and replaced with a red or blue one.

Yes, i'm not sure I agree with everything but certainly i'm not going to hate on this at all. I did think the H100i pump block looked better and cleaner however I can appreciate this one is matt black which if it survives Corsair's packaging should stay looking fresh for a lot longer.

One thing, are the grey clips not replaceable? Why are you banging on about glue and hair dryers guv, I thought the idea was they just clipped off, is that GTX's only or something? Earlier in the day I was thinking to myself 'but it's gonna be upside down for some people' then I realized if they make it the wrong way up on the back when you swap them over it will be the right way around for everyone. Then watching the review it looked like they did exactly as I thought... but then you said glue. If they are infact permanent then I despise how poorly they fit around the octagonal part.

I can appreciate you must do A LOT of testing for these cooler reviews with multiple overclocks and multiple fan speeds all for an extended period of time. That must be time consuming. But I feel that it's a bit wasted when they aren't directly comparable from product to product.

By which i'm trying to say the Kelvin obviously has slow fans. If it had 2700RPM fans it would have humiliated everything ever but then you would have given it a shoddy award for being uber loud. Similarly the Nepton which is comparable size and product I have no idea how it 'actually' compares from the graph. ie. performance per db. I know it's not your style to analy measure noise levels and go nuts and I appreciate that because it's something the end user will never do either. But it would be great to have a result for every cooler at one fan speed and heat load. Not 12v or 7v! Just say 1500RPM. If it would be a total PITA to control each fan like that (it wouldn't you just need an Aquaero in the test rig) then maybe use the same fan every time. Just a directly comparable result at which the reader can sit back and think right at this noise level which is acceptable for me X cooler will perform the best.

We review the options that comes with the standard product like a normal user would - otherwise we end up in the territor of using the same fans on each etc and thats pointless. We review the product that arrives and the options that come with it

The part that doesn't make sense to me is the naming scheme, The 280mm version will outperform the 240mm version and GTX usually signifies top end performance, Shouldn't the 280mm version be called the GTX ? I think George over at Corsair needs to stop slurping the special source when he's naming products ^_^

excellent vid, could have used some more closeups, and some interior shots.. but that is freaking amazing. really want one, XR2's epic

H110iGT isnt bad either.. just wish i had the use for one of them :(

lovely looking product! If this is still king when I rebuild might get one of these as I think an AIO will be my next cooler

I must admit the aesthetics of that cooler are a massive improvement over previous Corsair models and dare I say it, the competition's too. If I was looking for an AIO that would be on my list to check out.

The only gripe I have is that USB connection, it spoils the look considerably. All those cables could have been in one braided cable like the hoses, to be routed somewhere and then split out accordingly. I don't know the power requirements of the internal pump but it may have been possible to reduce the cable count by taking power from the USB port. Probably a reason as to why this wasn't done (PSU more reliable than the motherboard/USB).

Here's an idea for Corsair, in the next iteration how about making the communication Bluetooth or even wifi? It would add significant cost admittedly, but think of the functionality of adjusting the unit without having to use the PC - useful when benching or mid-game and you want to make adjustments or monitor the system without disturbing what the pc is doing or having to have another monitor connected. You could even monitor it remotely while away from home, useful for servers, folding etc.

I will be grabbing myself one of these as soon as someone buys my 970 waterblocks. I want to get hold of the red trim as well

I'd still take the Fractal Kelvin S36 if i had the case for it. Put better fans on it and i'm sure it'd take over these charts. With AIOs fans play a huge role in performance. More so than custom loops. With custom you hardly run the fans.

I've been waiting for this review and when I had the E-Mail from YouTube saying OC3D have uploaded a video and saw it was this I couldn't wait to finish work to come home and watch it.

I love the look of it, in my opinion the price seems fair and the performance is great.

Another thing added to the list of want to purchases :p

Great review! If I hadn't ordered mine yesterday I would have after watching...!
I think it looks great and has the performance to match. Nice to hear they've sorted the link software out too.......
