TBH I'm quite surprised it has taken Corsair so long to develop these 2 products. I always wondered, after the release of the H110, why there was no Corsair Link or anything like that available for the H110 and I thought it was almost a step back (until I used the software in its early days, but that's besides the point). As for the 780 bracket, I couldn't believe that they brought out a 290 bracket at a different time at all, although I'm sure there were good reasons.

While I love the looks of the H110i GT the deal breaker is this, 27mm aluminium radiator, 27mm ??? I've made bog babies bigger than that !
The H105 has 38mm, 35mm should be the minimum.

It's like a fat chick in black spandex.

Dude come on I don't want to lose my lunch XD

Its enough for I7's but not special indeed, but what would look extremly nice would be the H110i GT on a GPU since its square and would fit into the general look of the bracket

Looks the same as on the H100i to me though?

Things is; Corsair is a business and they need to sell as many units as they can. Leaving the rad thinner makes it compatible with more cases, thus more people will get one and Corsair will make more profit.

As much as they do for their customers, profit is still the priority for a business so I'm sorry to say you probably won't see your thick 360mm AIO anytime soon :p

Oh, and you've not had dinner yet at 8 PM?

Well I wouldn't mind a 280mm AIO but 27mm is too thin, Would be awesome if they did a 35+mm version of this for people who have cases bigger than a makeup bag :)

And I'm just having dinner, Long work day ^_^

H105 is 27mm, many gets confused and think it is actually larger.
The only difference is the fans are further away from the fins. There is a larger gap, compared to the H100i.

The new one are still made by Coolit and nothing really new. I still wont use one now, with the problems of already replace 2x H60, 1x H75 and 1x H105.

I wait till these are on the market and TTL compare them with the h100i, h105 and h110. But Corair did a good job with the looks, the new ones look far better, only that rgb led they should had used only a white led like the H105. I already had 2 h100i that had trouble with the rgb led, first one, the led died after a half year and the next one has sometimes problems with the red an blue.

I'm very sorry to hear about your visual impairment but a H105 core is significantly larger to that of a H100i. All radiators have a gap between the housing and the core so you don't damage it with the screws, there is nothing abnormally large about the gap on a H105. However the gap on a H100i is relatively small to allow for it's compact 27mm thickness which is actually very slim for a radiator. On a H105 the gap is 7mm on either side 38-(2x7) = 24mm compared to a H100i 27-(2x4) = 19mm it's quite a respectable increase in core thickness that facilitated a decrease in FPI while maintaining similar cooling performance. Changes were also made to the pump and block to improve performance.

Also the H75 and H105 are Asetek built just like many other AIO's. All of the 'i' suffix coolers with Corsair Link support are CoolIT built, just so you know. Personally I find the CoolIT units to be of higher build quality but i've only had 3 of each. If this new generation has built on the foundations of what went before i'm sure they will be pretty good products. Not many companies are so active at refreshing their AIO line-up.

so why exactly does the h100i version have an "x" at the end?

That is a mystery yet to be solved. One would think the H110i would inherit the 'X' as it has a different pump/block that certainly looks a little more impressive.

H150i ? Maybe that wil be a proper sized radiator and not this kindergarden 27mm garbage :D

Gotta be man sized stuff on the way. It must be more than a total refresh and you can't say Corsair haven't listened to what everyone was saying with the three products so far. It would seem odd to me to make a larger pump unit and such a huge box for the 280mm if they weren't going to sneak out a 360mm.

Discussing thickness though you have to remember the H105 and H100i had different pump/blocks so you couldn't attribute all of the gains to the thickness. Frontal area is the main factor and to an extent thickness is just going to add cost which won't be appreciated by reviewers and AIO customers if they can deliver the performance to be competitive with 27mm.

then why not name the other two GTX as well

Well I'm guessing it has to do with the spec, The H100i is the best 240mm cooler they make where as the other 2 might get big brothers i.e thicker rads etc... so the "X" will be reserved for them, Would make sense, If not then the I aint got a scooby.

i don't think there will be a single 120 version that's thicker than the h80i
280mm, possibly
