Fancy some of the very fastest memory that money can buy? Corsair have just the thing with their 3300MHz Dominator kit.

Luv me Plats but dreading going over to DDR4 seeing the prices, oh, see they've a new AirFlow fan? Not bad, still prefer the Dom GT version.

Nice review as usual mate. :)

Am i the only one here that wishes that Corsair would bring out something like the corsair dominator gt, all you need to do is remove the fins and stick a waterblock on it? you know because..... reasons.....

Yeah youre one of the few that thinks watercooling ram is needed!

TBH it's probably THE most stupid ridiculous thing I have ever seen in computing. No wait, there's a water cooling kit for the chip on a fan controller :confused:

They should box up dog shit. It would sell like hot cakes.

They used to do water cooled HDDs... Now that's worse then ram lol

@TTL

I don't use the included fans on my 3200mhz platinums

As you have found the memory does not get that warm.

In the past I have used fans with corsair dominator memory, never again as it is an awful dust magnet and looks terrible in no time.

Another problem with memory this fast is if I have a couple of bad system crashes when benching GPUs for example this can cause the mobo (RVE) to lose the plot and it can take an hour or more to retrain it to run the memory at it's rated speed. This happens on both my 5960X systems and can be very annoying. On the plus side when the memory is setup it is rock solid reliable.

didn't say needed dude... but could be helpful if your overclocking the ram...
also aesthetics...

Not needed, even the nitroheads don't use it for benching.

Nah I've had a few hard drives die due to heat. Things are much better with cases now but back in the day they would be shoved into a corner with no circulation at all. They actually get quite hot.

I wouldn't water cool one though. Just a total and complete waste of money. A 120mm fan costs far less lol.

I know it's not needed, never said it's needed. some people like the aesthetics.
