Corsair announce new Graphite 600T case

Is it just me or does this look slightly like a younger cousin of the CM Storm Sniper? :p

Definitely looks like air flow should be better than the 800D though.

"Hey lads, let's take the internals of a Cosmos, and the externals of a Sniper. Tada one new case"

However it does look like it might at least push some air. Be interested to have a play and see if they've improved on the 800D problems.

we asked for good amounts of cable management, not the hole motherboard as a giant rubber gromit lol!

i also have to agree with vonblade on the cosmos / sniper.

I have an 800D and the only problems I have with it is there is no dampening for the HDD's so the vibration noise goes through my desk , the right hand side panel isnt 100% flush with the case so it vibrates slightly with the HDD Vibrations , the plastic cover over the HDD fan isnt fitting properly and the fans that came with the case seem to be asthmatic (Poor CFM). Other than that its a fantastic but overpriced case. I wont have any problems putting hardware into the case because of how much space is in it.

Are those the problems you are talking about VonBlade? If not I dont know what other problems you are talking about because the 800D I have is almost perfect.

I was referring to the airflow issues.

Although for a case at that price having fitting and vibration issues is even worse. Because fans can be replaced but manufacturing tolerance can't be.

The airflow can be fixed by adding good fans. I will be changing all the 120MM fans in the case to high CFM fans and adding three more fans in the roof of the case with a fan controller. There shouldnt be any problem with airflow in the case then. The 800D actually keeps my components cooler than my Antec P190 did.

Thats not really saying much they are both ovens. Antecs make me shudder more than the 800d.

Im sorry but high cfm fans? I like quiet, and cool at the same time. The 800d is a shoddy case imho, and Ive worked with a few cases to form an opinion!

I bought the 800D because of your review and a few other reviews online. I dont believe the case is that bad to be honest. Ive worked with a lot of cases myself and I have built computers in cases that were a whole lot worse and smaller. The 800D does have its downsides though but what computer case is perfect? The main reason the 800D is warm (its not that hot in it) is because of the fan on the bottom of the case barely blows any air. Yes that fan is quiet but its because it isnt doing much. It is possible to get better fans that are just as quiet that move much more air than that bottom fan included with the 800D.

Aye, I wasn't really a fan of the Sniper's looks, which this appears to be based on, but at least it won't be a back-breaking 25Kg when EMPTY that my mates' 800D is lol. Should have better air flow too.
