Nice build.:)

One question though.

Why have you not used slots 1 and 3 for your GTX 690s so they can run @ x16/x16

You could have put your other card (sound card ?) in the black x8 slot in between the 690s.

Hey guys, great to be in this community.. Yeah i know i made a mistake, thought the second slot was 16x, but now im just way to lazy to to fix everything up. As you could see it would be a lot of work to fix this issues, since this is a water cooled rig. But i did my research and found out the 16x wont make that much of an improvement. I will eventually fix this issue and put the card onto the 16x slot, but ill do that when, ill clean out the system, which will most likely be in the summer time.. Now from the research that i've done (Youtube and Google), i found out that 16x wont be much more of an improvement, am i right??? Maybe ill see 1or3 FPS difference, from what i read and sow..

But all of the red slots are x16 why would it make any difference if you used 1 & 2 or 1 & 3? He's not using the black x8 slot  It looks a lot smarter like that than having the cards 4 slots apart.

As an aside just for my learning is the PCIe bandwidth of dual GPU cards theoretically half as much or does it have less impact. Like does he have x8/x8/x4/x4 as opposed to x8/x8/x8/x8 but if you had four separate cards you could have x16/x8/x8/x8.

The bandwidth changes as you put in more cards. As for this motherboard, its going to be x16 in the first slot, x8in the second, 3 16x and 4th 8x. If i were to put this card on the 3rd slot it would of been x16, since its a x16 supported slot. Now if i were to put 4 cards in here it would all run in x8.

Hope this helpd..

Four cards in actually runs x16/x8/x8/x8

Oh yeah just looked behind my cards and saw PCIE_x8_2, I just assumed all of the red ones could run x16 by what the spec sheet says... 4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x16 or x16/x8/x16 or x16/x8/x8/x8, red), i'm with you now. derp.
