Corsair 750D Review

i love this case! if only they did a white one :(

but anyway great job on the review tom :)
if only they did a smaller one..... you are gonna be in trouble dude ;)

mITX Obsidian NEEDS to be a thing.

That being said, good review. What were you, nine coffees in by the time you started filming?

Hey Tom , does the 750D have a usb3 motherboard plug for the front panel usb3 ?
Hopefully they got away from the usb3 pass through they have with the 650D.

Nice review and a great looking case.

Great review Tom! I can practically smell the coffee through my screen though haha. Been waiting to see this case ever since the 350D came out. Was as good as I expected! :D

Still deciding whether or not it beats my Silverstone Raven, the cable routing is definitely better but then that's easy to beat. The RV02 sucks for cable routing.

"There's an optical bay there if your mad enough to still be using optical drives" :( This makes me feel really old... What's everybody doing instead then??

OS: install from usb
Drivers: download straight from website
Games: steam and origin

Optical drives are dead technology dude

not everything is downloadable, but tbh I bought a usb bluray rw drive when it was on offer at Aria :) it's perfect, connects to two usb ports for speed and it's out the way when i don't need it

Im not sayin your wrong because you know alot more than me on this subject but in my experience ive always been able to download it. But again thats my experience.

Ive got an external one just in case though

I live in the south wales valleys and the internet here is pretty shocking. I can't really rely on it to download all of my games. I'd be looking at roughly 9 hours to get a 6GB pack? I cringe every time I see a BF3 update...

I have been looking at portable Blu Ray drives though SuB! Was it the Samsung SE-506BB? Would be handy to get as I only really use CDs for installing, once installed I should mange OK with updates etc.

Damn :( so yh in your case an OD would be pretty useful.
I guess most people take fibre broadband for granted...
1st world problems lol

Exactly! lol. We are about 10 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to internet.

I'd still like to free up the optical bays though. Would be nice to remove those HDD cages in the 750D and put your mechanical drive in one of the bays, but in reverse so the wires are out of sight.

Those SSD mounts are perfect! Not sure how 1x SSD would look on it's tod though. Tom had 4x SSDs in the video... which lets face it, you could hang 4x Corsair SSDs on the washing line and they would still look awesome!

will still be quite some time until i can build my waterloop because of recent set backs, but this is definitely a favorite in my list. i hope phanteks is going to make a smaller version of the enthoo primo, that could be the one competitor imo.
i hope the 5.25" bays can be easily ripped out, they kinda destroy the looks of the rad.

I believe my drive is a Toshiba, will check tonight. (while watching the review with a cuppa)
