Cooler Master TPC 800

So theres this new cooler off CM that (according to my daily read german tech-site) seems to be better than the NHD14.

Well only beats it by a couple of degrees, but then again look at its size: its pretty damn small and got those flat-extra-heatpipe things.

They only used one fan?
The 'D14's towers are separated by a 140mm fan which is integral to the cooling properties of the unit.

Thats basically saying the Coolermaster heatsink is better than half the noctua....

Well i was browsing through some other Reviews too, and it differs from smashing the d14 by 5° and beeing one ° behind.

What are considered "legit" and trustable review-sites besides oc3d?

I'm sorry - but we cant exactly recommend you competitors websites on our forums can we....

There arent that many these days that dont favour tests towards the highest paying companies, so if you see results that are too good to be true, they probably are.

I watch vieo reviews where they show the ambient temps and campare delta temps, like Tom, realtime.

They have been tested properly on video, in the same manner that Tom does and it came in 2 degrees hotter than the d14 (44 degrees delta with a 2500k @ 4.7 GHz). The problem with the reviews is that the cooler doesn't come with fans, so your results are completely skewed based on what kind of fans you use.

Newegg have just used the CM TPC812 on x2 Xeons, i use this to look for coolers and am tempted via h100 or the one below it so have a look at this.
