Dunno about that front air intake / scoop for any falling objects / dust, but that big hex pattern is quite attractive I think. Downside of large hex pattern with thin members if it is exposed all the time, impacts of any size wreak havoc.

All these tech press releases, it's like the real Christmas everyone was waiting for!

Master Maker ? Someone at Coolermaster HQ didn't think that all the way through ^_^

The only two things Cooler Master have ever made that I really wanted to have are the Wavemaster, circa 2001 and the Cosmos 2. The Wavemaster was the first all aluminium case I ever saw and I looked at one at Best Buy and loved the solid "dink" noise it made when you closed the front door. It was still shortly before the world exploded with colour so compared to all of that beige it just looked so futuristic.

The Cosmos 2 is one heck of a case. And by that I mean, it's one heck of a case. It has to be the biggest case I've ever owned. At first I liked that but as time went on it just became a chore. I had it up on my desk and to reach the power button you needed to fumble around with that touch pad thing.

What I really didn't like about it was the enormous great Cooler Master logo on the front. I really think they should have done something else about that as it ruined the look IMO.

Ooh nice chassis the only case I ever fell in love with was the Gigabyte Sumo 4112 my mate had one with a full modded acrylic side panel it looked the mutts nutts, of the new CM cases the Maker 5 is all sorts of win for me the exterior just screams stealth me.
