Did Lian Li patent their daisy chaining or why is this not common for new releases today? I'd expect every new fan, especially ARGB ones, to be interconnectable via a simple click, so you only have one cable for fan control and one for RGB...


I've seen NZXT also having connections on their Aer fans, but you'll also need a cable for those to connect to each other.

They patented the metal contact daisy chaining but the simple cable to cable daisy chains are open to use for anyone. Since its no different to the standard way of plugging the cable into a 4 pin connector.
