Cooler Master ELV8 solves GPU sag with some overengineering

PCIe slot failed on my last PC. Don't take any chances now and use a GPU brace. It's the "upHere GPU brace" on Amazon and costs about a tenner.

Do you have a link or pictures of your brace. Would be cool to see it. Seems they have a few models, so I don't know which one you are talking about.

The one that's £9.99. See attached pic:-

I feel kinda stupid for asking, but how do these actually work? I don't see a stand in your picture and some of the reviews on amazon don't have a stand in their pictures as well.
Is it really enough to use the 3 thumb screws of the PCI slots above the brace? That should be enough because the brace itself cannot bend in that case.

Think of it as a shelf bracket that holds up a shelf. The bracket is L shaped, and screwed to a wall. No different here except that its attached to the PCI bracket and rests under the gpu. You can see the 2 black notches which are in contact with the gpu to hold it. Its a nice touch to keep minimal contact meaning no scratches. Plus I assume those are adjustable and can slide along the brace depending on the GPU fan design or length of the card.
