No you're not, if I was still into water and big cases I'd seriously consider this but these days I'm more into smaller more manageable cases

I wonder if you could fit two big rads at once, or will the end tanks bump heads, like they seem to do in EVERY case that offers a top and front rad mount.

It looks amazing that i admit. And features, customizability are epic. But i don't like that it is big for the sake of being big. Internal space is roughly 490x490x250mm, and external dimensions are 650x650x300mm. That is one third of the space completely unusable. This is (now late) SMA8's theritory. And CM is a far cry for water cooling from it. Yes SMA8 is basically a box, but CM could have easily made it to support 480mm rads, and still have the same design. And that would have made it one of the best water cooling cases on the market with all that modularity not when CL is no more.

It is a flagship case... for extreme water cooled rigs. Not for B450 board with air cooled GPU. It is a sin to put AiO inside, and it looks like that is what they were aiming for. That is sad...

Worst part about it, is you are kind of correct, but also not quite. It's aimed at extreme watercooling, but it's not actually great for it. Believe it or not, this is better for AIO and Hybrid GPU.

In my opinion its not well optimised if you want to keep the PSU face plate.

Standard orientation means you can get a 360 rad in front, but you cant get one in the top without modding or having a specific radiator as the outlets will clash. Inverted is no different except that using the PSU cover plate looked silly to me. SSD mount meant logo was upside down. In fact the whole motherboard logos etc were odd to look at.

Only benefit was to see my coolant in the GPU.

And for all the RGB loving people. Certain orientations mean the RGB cables from the case do not always reach the RGB PCB when its inserted into one SSD tray (default position) you have to remove it and have it hanging or modded to attach somewhere else. So this is a big flaw in their product to me. In order to hide the RGB PCB as it in the default layout, you need to buy RGB extenders. Something they do not mention. Mine was also extremely twitchy and every so often I had to push the cables in further again when the case lights suddenly stopped reading settings from the software.

Best orientation for this case is chimney layout. So yeah, while its modular, each orientation does have limitations. I replaced mine with the 1000D and now the C700 is gathering dust in my storage unit. Definately not worth the £320 price I paid, and now they want over £400 for this?

This is a £250 case, nothing more. Only true value I liked and was my decided point for the case, were the tempered glass door and its angular shape, and also its dark ghosted look which made white light inside very nice to look at.

edit*
Guru3D just did a case review on it and it could be that they have ironed out the flaws I found too. Interesting...
