Cooler for i5 6600k

So, only a few things to close my gaming build. After i got some advice in this forum about which ram kit i should buy (and i appreciate a lot!), i´m kinda lost about the cooling.


It´s for an i5 6600k, 16gb of ram, a GTX 1070 and an Asus z170 MoBo. All this to fit in a Fractal Design Define R5.

I´ll try to overclock the best i can, but (good) cooling is very important so, what do you recommend?

I can grab the following models; Corsair Hydro Series H90; Corsair Hydro Series H80i v2

NZXT X41 Kraken; Fractal Design Kelvin T12; Corsair Hydro Series H110i;

Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 or this one Corsair Hydro Series H105.

Huge range there but the H110I gt performs best


H100i V2 is 120mm fans so easier to get matching sets for

I can´t get to that one, the shop from where i´m putting the rig together doesn´t have that one.

But i´m looking closely to the NZXT Kraken x61. Seems a good one too.

Do you really need to get everything from the same place?... Many of us get the stuff we really want, from several places. And not just one.

It´s just because they´re gonna do all of the assembly on the shop. I´m a noob at this
so i´m a bit afraid of doing it myself.

Id go for the H100i V2 - remember to set the pump up in link

Corsair Link? There isn´t much difference between h100i v2 and the Kraken x61 in terms of performance from i´ve reading. But the h100i is a bit cheaper.

Maybe i´ll stay with Corsair.
