my brother bought a pair of headphones and along with it a ModMic 5.0. To make up for the terrible onboard microphone jack he bought a USB soundcard: sound blaster live 3
For whatever reason though its making a constant static noise in the microphone. Furthermore, he says if he uses the headphones with it he gets white noise.
Can anything be done about this, or is it just how it is due to interference from other hardware?
