Nope they really don't. Though if I was going to be buying new kit I would want to get the best I could for my money Lower latencies mean you can loosen them when you come to OCing later on and then you can actually get higher clocks because you won't need as loose latencies, so rather than 6 6 6 18 you can have 5 5 5 15 for example
Based on the prices and specs I'm seeing for that PSU, I wouldn't trust it. Only 2 SATA connectors on a 700W? Extremely flashy exterior? Only 30 quid? That's some major warning signs right there. Quick Google sees people calling them another QTec
Wouldn't get a Hiper ever again in my life, I paid £100+ for my first PSU and it went up within a year, I then got another 1, exact same model and poof 1 month later .
Ever since then I have never had 1 , the only reliable one is the PC with a 5 year old FREE PSU with the case.
Would OCZ be a decent make for PSU?
OCZ 500W StealthXStream PSU, PowerWhisper, Active PFC
You will lose some features going with the latter (features that you will most likely not use, might I add). In terms of performance, no noticeable difference. You'll also save some cash
