Computer broken?

Whenever I type something into a search engine and try to click on the site it gives, it does a bunch of crazy stuff and takes me to some random website. wtf is wrong with my computer?

I also can't install updates... it's giving me error code 80244019 I'm about to throw it out the window

As for the error code, a quick google shows its a network connection error, I'll look more for you in a while.

ok... i'll type in overclock 3d in yahoo, then click on the overclock3d.net link and this will come up. http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/6856/25749931.jpg here's another try... http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/6725/asdfgot.jpg my URL will change 2-5 different times before stopping on 1.

I scanned with AVG and some type of anti spyware

I would go for Virus/Spyware.

AVG isnt the best, also, for spyware, go get Spybot S&D

Allso empty your temp files and you cookies and any thing else like that to. With modern day spy ware as well they tend to hit the restore bin. so lose the system restore after you find any or if you find any that way they cannot have a place to hide.
