When u fry a mobo it has the potential to damage other parts as I well know, its a shitty chain of events...
My first board fuckup fried my 6800 GT and possibly my CPU... Once my new board comes in I'll continue the fight to figure out whats still fucked up, I have my new vid card so I'm hoping its still ok, my ram SHOULD be good, and then I'm thinkin my cpu is toast.
Yeah I'd thought I'd lost my graphics card and a couple of system components on the last one that went. I think it definitely took some of its integrated PCI components with it, the LAN light wasn't showing on the switch any more... a couple of days before it died my Audigy 2 seemed to pack in, sounded like it's DACs were destroyed or something to that effect. Oddly enough it's in on of my fallback PC's now and works like a charm

Audigy 2 Platinum w/front drive... I was distraught until it miraculously recovered... You know I think it must have sense the pending doom and dropped out deliberately so I'd remove it, heheh. Smart card...
