Just total random gaming basically.
It randomly puts you into any game with no idea where your friends are.

i think you will find it will probably be like the console ones were you get to pick core/HC then the mode.
console matches you to players of similar levels as much as possably but you can still join in progress, say your 55 10th you can join your mate who's 7 2nd and still play. and have a party made up of any levels and still get a game

Just remembered that they are using steam also so that is probably how you are going to manage your friends list.
What a ****ing blow.

To be honest, the petition is pointless! The developers do not care! This game is being made for the 360 and PS3, they said screw you to the PC gamers so I will say screw you back! But I do understand the decision, companies are made to make money, so why would they spend millions on the minority? But I never play online games with more then 5 a side any more so this does not affect me in anyway. As for the argument about there being lag etc the server clients running on your pc have been optimized for the 360 which is 5 year old tech so they will run just fine on any gaming PC. As for connection speeds, most people in the USA (the largest user base) only have 2Mb/s connections so once again it has been optimized! So stop complaining and if you want to play the game just play it! Do not go in some big huff because you as the minority are not getting what you want! This is going to be the future of PC gaming so accept it, and there will always be indie titles which in my opinion are much better then the big ones just for the PC.
