CM Storm Trooper Review

What a beast! Awesome review Tom

It's a lot better than I thought it was going to be I don't like the look of it myself but it is a really good case. Having dual rad support is pretty awesome too, the new EX240 rad from XSPC should fit in the bottom nicely.

i havent really cared for any of the cm storm series yet......this one's gett'n there at least....i like the looks of optical/hdd bay section of the case....it differs from the normal stamped steal with holes just enough to be different

I've decided on this for my new build. The one thing I dislike is that they didn't use a single dust filter for the front bays. But I can live with that lol.

I really liked the review. Very good case, even if I prefer the Thermaltake Chaser MK-1, and I am considering to buy it for my new build. It would be very nice if our tinytomlogan would review it. Maybe that would change ianucci's mind about his next case

Wont be reviewing any ThermalTACKY products

ARR I won't ask you why

<--Tom. I think they got some interesting products.

Anyway CM Storm Trooper seems to be a very nice case at a very good price. If I hadn't fallen in love with the MK-1 I would have probably chosen the Storm Trooper (that is why I think it would have been interesting a review since their prices should be similar).

Great review as always. I'll be waiting for the next one!

if you remove the hard drive bays you can put a 360 in the front

Says that in the review too

yeah I know but then I'd be in the same spot I am currently in with my Sniper case hell you can fit a 360 into anything if ya remove enough stuff

I just like the looks of the Trooper. I guess if I had enough $$$ I'd get one and do a dual 240 rad setup but alas the $$ gods are eluding me these days lol

You can even put 480 in front.

not gonna say you cant as I dont have one in front of me for better measuring but a 480 rad is abot 550mm tall and thats about 22.5 inches the trooper is 22.8 inches tall. Now not knowing where that 22.8 is internal or external (I think latter) I'd say it wont fit

ugly case, but some brilliant, well-thought-out features ....

if those features were combined with lian li's looks....phwor, winner alert.

yeah and add on the Lian Li price tag to boot no thanks I like what CM is doing on thier case line making great cases at affordable prices

No 480 rads are not 550 long:), most of them are 530mm, but anyway I'm not 100% sure as well.Watach this video, and info about 480 rad (4:32)My link , and on the bottom of the case you can install 60mm rad with push-pull if you remove the bottom HDD cage.
