Clueless to Intel platforms

Iv been an AMD person since the start and know nothing about Intel platforms Im fine on the ram, hard drive gpu etc.

Im stuck on the motherboard and cpu I have about 400 pound to spend maximum on them is this ok?

Strikers are decent if you're going SLI. If not a Commando would do you better imo
