As some of you may know I bought a laptop a few weeks back and I have only just noticed something
When I don’t have the Acer power software installed the laptop runs the CPU at 980 MHz (Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz) even when the AC is plugged in
If I have the software installed I can change this to full CPU
Any who...
Is there a way in XP pro to set the clock rate to 1.66 GHz instead of 980 MHz?
Changing the profile to minimal power management allows full clock on AC but not on battery
