Clock speeds and pricing have been leaked for AMD's entire Ryzen lineup

I think the R5 1300 could be a great budget CPU. $180 for 4C8T! I myself, feel like I have to go for 8C16T.

On another note, it looks like these prices are fairly legit. The pricing is similar to the previous leaks, which is good news as these prices are excellent.

Awesome stuff. So happy, and I don't even need a CPU. Just happy for others, and hopeful about seeing a crap load more PC gamers because of this.

<3 AMD.

That 6 core seems like a sweetspot. Priced like an i5 but 6c/12t and unlocked multiplier. And only 65W TDP. Damn!

The question of hyper-threading or not could be now 6c/12t or 8c/16t. What a huge jump forward. If Ryzen succeeds, I have a feeling Intel's CEO is going to have to step down. I've heard they're not happy there right now. Apparently CanardPC reported that folks at Intel are quite upset about things.

You never know Intel may have an ace up their sleeve but we don't know for sure yet.

Maybe the pricing from Intel have been over priced for years maybe these Ryzen CPU may give Intel a wake up call but only time will tell.

I still think that Intel will reduce the pricing they may not have a choice if they want to or not.

I wouldn't be writing Intel off just yet.

Oh, yeah, Intel are still in the game. They're a massive company and will continue to be. I just think there is going to be a major shakeup as a result of Ryzen. Intel not only have to defend against Ryzen in the desktop sector but also in the highly lucrative datacenter sector which likely AMD will be targeting next. That's a bigger deal for Intel as far as I can tell.

They might drop their prices, yeah, but I think they'll do everything they can to avoid doing so. The new Kaby-Lake-X CPU's might be that scapegoat. They can reduce the prices of their current CPU's but keep their new 7640K and 7740K at the same price, hoping to grab a few hardcore fanbo... I mean, customers, that way. Just kidding. :p That would annoy so many early Kaby Lake adopters, though.

On the other hand, Coffee Lake could be an absolute beast. Imagine the IPC's and clock speeds of the 7700K with an additional two cores and hyper-threading on both the i5 and i7. Even with the same pricing that would be amazing especially if they manage to consolidate their chipset design ideas and can stick to one for a few years.

One thing i will give credit to AMD for is the socket they don't change socket every two years like Intel does which annoys me to no end, It's funny tho they don't try it with X series line of motherboards tho.

As i have said Intel will drop the price of all of the current CPU's expect for the 6950X i just can't really see that dropping that much.

That's the problem when your an early adopters people just have to expect the prices to drop.

For me i never really had an issue with the price expect for the X series CPU i thought it was way to high but Intel knows they will still sell those CPU's anyway.

IMO Intel is only charging the prices for the CPU's that their charging now cause they i have market share which is something like 80% to 20%.

AMD have way more to lose in this than Intel will ever have.

I'm seriously interested in the 1700X, especially if as we think the X models come with RyZens self overclocking feature based on cooler performance. It could offer just as much performance as the 1800X but for the equivalent of $150 less.

Fun times ahead!

My seniments excactly and I have mates looking to upgrade soon so they can now grab some performance without breaking the bank

I think you overestimate there prowess. Intel are no longer the amazing fab gods like they used to be. With yet another setback to there fabrication nodes, not only did they lose there previous 14-18 month lead (compared to 24months previously) they are now barely ahead of anyone else. Samsung is rapidly catching up. Sure Intel may have a lead at every node size, but as we get closer and closer to smaller shrinks they have less room to outpace anyone else, and architecture efficiencies will be more than enough to out perform Intel at every same node size now. A few weeks back before the Cannon Lake delayed announcement (namely it's 10nm die shrink) Everyone considered Intel kings. Not anymore, for good reason. Partly why there stock dipped (along with other news)

Even if AMD are slower, they have Intel completely outclassed at performance per watt if those tdp's are anything to go by.

Yep I always thought about 850 for AU for the top cpu which is still 650 cheaper than the intel equivilent..............hell it's nearly half price

I always wonder how thing would be if it was AMD who had the lead on CPU's and GPU'sfor the last few years, if now we'd be hoping nvidia and intel would bring something to knock amd down a peg
