Clearing key bindings in BF3

Hey everybody.

New joystick arrived yesterday, got it all set up, then tried playing a bit of the BF3 beta just now and discovered the joystick is already bound for on foot movement controls, which I hate!

I was wondering if there was any way to clear key bindings in BF3, I've tried messing about with it a bit but because the options screen closes when you die and you can't change the options without being alive on a server I haven't been able to do much tinkering.

Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

From what I've heard, you can't clear the key bindings

Well I've binded all the joystick controls to a single button for now so I don't get trouble when the throttle is out of place or similar.

Hopefully they will let you delete binds in the release version at least, but am I right in thinking this was a problem in Bad Company 2 as well?

Only difference was you can only have commands binded to a single button/key so controls weren't messed up when I tried playing it.
