Hello to everyone on this community ! Im glad i found you all .
I new here to your forums and i hope to get to know people discuss and learn lot
Of things.

I own a pc with theese hardware
Msi 790gx-g65
Amd phenom II x4 955 c2(overclocked to 3,6 multiplier only to x18)
Kingstone ddr3 8gb at 1600mhz (oc on Bios at 1600)
Western digital 500gb green
Geforce 550 ti 1gb
Kingstone ssd 128gb on sata 2 (MOB limited )
Psu 650w

I updated me ssd and ram recently and installed win 7 x64 for
Max perfomance and win 7x32 on the wd .

So far no problem

Today i tryied to clean up my pc remove dust apply new thermal paste on cpu

When i tryed to remove the heatpipe from cpu i saw that i putted last time too much thermal paste and it leaked/ exceeded the cpu boards
So tryed to remove clean it up and apply new and less
When i tryed remove the heetsink suddenly the cpu came out as well ...!
I freaked out tryed to remove the cpu carefully placing in on the mob again
The thermal paste was like glue and after trying to remove it the force i putted pop the cpu and it fell on floor( unlucky ) the pins bend ,
Carefully i straighten them again remove the thermal paste from
Them (it was a mess really) and putted the cpu back on mob secured it with the safety pin .

( i was pretty sure that my cpu wont work again)
Thankfully my pc started again everything was ok but i noticed that further more the safety pin on the mob wont lock the cpu, if i try to remove heatsink again it will come of for sure.

This sums up my whole freaking morning
Of cold sweat :)

Any ideas on what i can do for the safety pin / mob so the cpu doesnt come off again would be grateful

Thanks in advance

Next time run your pc before removing your heatsink, this will heat up the paste and make it easer to remove your cooler.
