Oh gosh, i remember getting this for free with my Geforce 6800 Ultra card, never really got into it.

I never really played much of this the first time round. Now it's coming to PC I'll probably pick up this remaster.

Glad to see they're updating the gameplay mechanics too, I remember that despite the amazing graphics, story and atmosphere the gunplay could get abit samey and some levels were abit of a chore. It's always a bit jaunting going back to 6th gen console FPS games generally though with how much the genre matured over the 7th gen.

I think that B.L.A.C.K. would still hold up just fine.

I think these days it would feel bland along all other shooters. It was a showcase back then of destruction and atmosphere. you can play any BF from 3+ and it will have everything that was good with better graphics, engine, multiplayer and sound. This game got Sooo much hype but after a few hours of gaming it was very boring.
Owned XIII but never played it. Might even still have it for PS2, Ill have to check
