Chrome Display Issue

Wasn't completely sure where to post this, so I can't go wrong throwing it in here.

Recently I've been having an annoying problem with Chrome, majority of the time when I maximize the window, a black bar covers the top part of the screen until I click on the start menu or something else on the taskbar.

Tried using IE and Firefox and it doesn't happen on either of them, so I tried re-installing chrome, re-installing graphics drivers (HD7950 with Catalyst 13.12), yet it still seems to happen. Anyone else had this before and got any ideas on how to solve it? Tis quite irritating

I started getting something where if I scroll up from the bottom of the page I could scroll up 'further' and the website would sit much lower down (much like your screeny) so Im assuming its a chrome issue that will be fixed.

Handy to know that it's not just me then and it might chrome thats the problem. Been fussing over it for a couple days trying to figure out what was causing it.

Oh look chrome having more issues. What a suprise...

Yeah it's chrome. I get the same issue with my work pc (i5 3330+ 8500gt) so I've switched back to firefox for the time being.

Definitely not just you buddy I've been getting similar glitches, I also noticed I get more and more "gateway timeout errors" with chrome these days.

@Wraithguard same here, noticed more "gateway timeout errors" with chrome, and i have to reload webpages each time it happens.
I also have some graphical glitches like youtube full screen playing with huge borders on the bottom and right side.
@tinytomlogan, i have the same glitch, where i would scroll and go over the websites borders, happend often on facebook.

I also noticed that chrome is not as smooth as it used to be.

Looks its time for me to switch back to firefox until chrome is fixed.

I've had both the black and white screen glitches with SLI 780's so it seems Chrome doesn't discriminate. Having said that they have been very uncommon and only seemed to crop up with many windows and tabs open.
