Uhhh? You don't need the Optimax to mount the rad, lol... The three vert aligned 120's on the front of the case is where u mount it on a UFO :)

@Dav0s: Yup, sure am. Might pick up a DFI Expert and put my chipset block back in place too.

Yeah I might just have to pick one up. With this board it would allow me to hook back up my chipset waterblock which is going to come in quite handy while pumping 1.8vcore through any processors which dare stand up to the test :)
 
Status update...

Chilly got my case in from FedEx, and the bastards damaged the side panel... Fucking FedEx. Never the less the case is in and construction should begin shortly, holla!!!
 
hehe usually its ups that damages the things for me, sorry to hear that mate, I got all my parts refunded getting a new Expert shortly

Update - 1/1/06

FedEx is paying the claim for the damage to my side panel and a new panel is being shipped from Mountain Mods tomorrow! Good news, progress pics should be soon to follow :D

I've requested that Reggie take some pix during the build-out so that I can have them for the scrap book. I think it's important to have moments in history such as this recorded so I can look back on it someday. "Ahhh yup, that was my very first single stage cascade, pretty sweet eh kids?" lol.

Haven't updated this thread in ages so I thought I'd post...

Talked to Reggie on the phone yesterday and he's working frantically to get caught up and get units shipped. He's finally got all of the parts for my rig but finding the time to work on it is a struggle. I'm guessing another 3+ monthstill I see it, no worries on his end.

All I know and care about it is the fact ill have a top performing cascade made by the greatest :)

That's the news for now!

quite possibly! I'm hinking about an uber budget build with mad oc capability... core solo perhaps? p4 maybe? am2 sempy? who knows, the possibilites are nearly limitless.

when I get home ill start a thread for speccing out a mad cheap computer with the ability to overclock like nuts under a cascade.
