Cheap build advice

Hi, I'm building a cheap pc for a friend of mine which is mainly for mundane tasks with some audio encoding.

These are the parts so far:

Mobo: Asus M4A785TD-V EVO

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445

Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 2x2GB DDR3-1333 PC3-10600

HDD: WD Caviar Green 500GB (may add a second and raid 0'em)

PSU: Cooler Master PC Elite Power 400W

Case: Gigabyte GZ-X7 (still trying to convince him to go with the Cooler Master Elite 430)

That's it. No GPU for now since the mobo has a integrated radeon hd4200 which should be

sufficient. As of now we're at the 350 euros price point. Anyway, suggestions would be very welcome.

We're trying to stay below the 400euros limit. Thanks

Mobo: Asus M4A785TD-V EVO cor blimey theres loadsa mobos

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445 a dual would be fine

Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 2x2GB DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 - also look at mushkin silverline

HDD: WD Caviar Green 500GB (may add a second and raid 0'em)- raid0 for mundane is silly

PSU: Cooler Master PC Elite Power 400W - Mushkin do a 500w for £60

Case: Gigabyte GZ-X7 (still trying to convince him to go with the Cooler Master Elite 430) case wise that cheap is tough but look at Xigmatek.

Hey said cheap, any cheap PSU isnt going to be a world record breaker. Ive actually got one of the 500 watters and been trying to blow it up, had no luck yet though its a tough cookie!

Thanks for the reply. Mushkin will be kinda hard to find here (Portugal), and I'd rather buy locally.

I've looked at xigmatek and the Asgard II looks like a sweet deal for 35euros. The kingston mem is so far the cheapest way

to get to 4GB I've seen around here, besides an A-data kit but the difference is only 4euros. Anymore suggestions?

Turns out this rig is supposed to run stuff like VirtualDj and Fruityloops without hiccups, and I'm trying to get it running

as smooth as possible. Thanks guys

lol virtual DJ runs on next to nothing my dads samsung R530 runs it no issue

look at cheap AM3 duels

or the i3

2gb of ram would be fine

Oo you should try that with some of the Coolermaster PSU's they do it on their own

i reccommend this case psu bundle from overclockers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-225-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=#

i am using it in my current system and i've never had a problem and my system same athlon ii processor and a GTX 460. but be warned the cables are not sleeved so you will see all the wires through the window.
