In a recent chat with the tech representative of nVidia France, Stéphane Quentin, internauts have asked a few questions concerning what's coming out from nVidia in a near future.
The chat was in French but I thought it could be informative so here are some info I translated.
nVidia project, initially rumoured 8950GTX2 and based on the G92 will possibly be out in a couple of weeks. But it may not be called GTX2!
The new 8800GTS2 will be out on december 11th for approximatly 299 euros.
Hybrid SLI is scheduled for next year and will let you use different cards in SLI as long as the cards are both DX10, no need to have 2x 8800, one 8800 and one 8600 will work. Hybrid SLI will also have advanced power management.
The upcoming 3-ways SLI will finally let you play Crysis max out. 3-ways SLI is also expected in 2008.
New high end card like a 9800 will mostlikely be single slot card.
