Its a DFI Lanparty 3200 DR and on the board there is a error code shower thingy (sorry tis stil morning) and all it says is 8

Going to try diff graphics card

Theres no beep codes at all on boot (not sure as I cant find the speaker in my case)

Done a google for that error code and cant find it... any ideas?

The ICFX3200?

These boards are picky as hell mate. Have you tried disconnecting all power and resetting CMOS for an hour or so? If that works set "Software reset clockgen"

why did i choose that board to use for my system lol. Last time I see a spare board and use that one. Ill have a go at that, thanks. Just need to download the manual now. DFI support is supposed to be quite good isnt it "?

Their forum is pretty good and RMA is ok. Unfortunately with some ICFX the digital PWM was not up to scratch and some are failing

Had the same problem with my board mate. After spending days trying to fix it, I sent it off to RMA and got a new one. Here's what i was told to try:

1. Unplug power

2. Remove one stick of ram

3. Set CMOS jumper to clear position

4. Take out CMOS battery

5. Using something conductive (possibly the batter its self) short out the two bits of metal inside the battery casing for a few minutes.

6. Put battery back in.

7. Put cmos jumper back in original position.

8. Power on PC (still with only 1 stick of ram).

Also try some different ram in there - mine fried some OCZ FlexXLC (GRRR).
