Short recap: recently the 1st RAM slot died so used the other slots for two sticks.
Same thing happened tonight: sudden shutdown upon simple file transfer and now it's stuck in a shortlived boot loop, giving me a code 10 (pei core). Tried all sticks separately in remaining three slots to no avail.
My conclusion would be RAM slots error because it happens during pei initialization. I fear this motherboard is gone.
