CD Projekt Red responds to "mandatory crunch" allegations

Ouch, take it easy buddy... that's not good for you.

His first post on OC3D is to worry about a regular user :). Greenback, you gotta listen to them now. Has to be done!

Don't worry I don't do it anymore, I'm a stay at home dad, the best job ever and wouldn't change that for anything, I'd say to any man if your MRS says you look after the kids while she goes out working take her up on it before she changes her mind.

Crunch pff! Come work in my hospital for a week. Crunch is a holiday.

When I worked in a hospital doing cooking, Preparing meals to be frozen, Preparing meals for specific people with specific needs all throughout the morning/day/evening etc... 12 hour days were pretty normal and the nurses quite often worked 30 hours per shift.

Yeah exactly! And that's in normal times, let alone now. What you did is too often under appreciated yet super important!

Outside of my biology work, I work in opthalmology and study simultaneously during the evenings and weekends. It was busy before and it's mental now + verbal and physical abuse from patients in these pandemic times. It comes with the job; I knew this beforehand.

When one starts working in the gaming industry this is a known fact - regardless if it's right or wrong. Don't want to do it? Go do something else. I'm a bit fed up admittedly with this whining.

Same, I mean video games are not an essential part of life and anyone getting into the industry should know by now that it aint easy.

"You work schedule is unhealthy? Hah, we work doubly as unhealthily!!"

Such a strange topic to one-up on.

True but certain jobs do demand a lot of a person, Like nurses and it's extremely rare you will ever hear a nurse complaining because they are passionate about their job.
