Ccc wont start? 7970

As the title says, my catalyst control center wont open AT ALL when i try to open it my mouse turns into the "please wait spinning thingy" and nothing happens or opens... Help?

Remove drivers and re-install? Or have you done that already? Or check the processes in Task Manager. There may be multiple instances of it already running.

• uninstall the catalyst as normal
  

• download and install DriverSweeper (or similar)
  
• run as admin
  

• reboot
  

• install newer Catalyst version

Roger that . i used to have the same problem on the rig i built my dad.

did the above' and pressto!

you can also rollback to an older driver package from

install it with CCC check to see if it works,

and download and install the latest driver only {without CCC).

Check MS config and makes sure "MOM" is enabled at startup. No joke, this is what AMD put in the drivers, it is called MOM and is part of CCC and must also startup with CCC on BOOT. Then restart.
