Cases for Watercooling

I'm edging towards this. Or a similar updated Lian case, the A70 is a few years old now; but I like the idea of a 360 in the top and a 240 in the bottom. Can I run both rads on the same loop with just one pump? (As long as it can pump a good rate per hour)?

Yea it will be fine with the right pump. Radiators aren't really a restriction when it comes to water flow, you need to worry about the number of waterblocks and how far (in vertical height) the water has to travel. It's better to look at the pressure head than flow rate if you've got more of those restrictive factors. I'd recommend the Laing DDC.

Awesome. I was looking at the Laing DDC or D5, the 18v ones I think. I work with large Lowara and Grundfos pumps at work (4KW and massive flow rates), these dinky little pumps surprise me as how much water they can actually shift. Those 600 LPH are ones I should be looking at I reckon? I'm only going to have a single GPU block and a CPU block. I think I'm set on a Lian-Li case now, just choosing the right one! Something along the lines of the A70, simple, clean looks, lots of room and options for rads, as I said before, I don't mind cutting and carving, I'm an engineering technician so it shouldn't be a problem. He says! lol

Haha yea, you best to a good job on modding it with your expertise lol. Could be embarassing! A70 is a smart looking case.

600lph is a fine rate to go for. Ultimately flow rate will only do so much, increasing radiator surface area and literally having more fluid flowing round will dictate the temps.

Both DDC and the D5 will easily handle 2 blocks so take your pick

One last thing - I know you are keen on the look of all this so if you went DDC then xs-pc do a smart dual-optical bay res for it.

They also do a D5 res but firstly it doesn't look as sexy imo, you'll have to find somewhere else to put it since it isn't a bay fit and it won't hold as much coolant either.

I don't like the look of the 5 1/4" reservoirs. I'm planning on not using any drive bays at all. I don't really need them, except for a fan controller, but I can mount that elsewhere. I was looking at getting a top for the pump and a standard tube style res.
