I currently have a Thermaltake V3 Black Edition case and I shouldn't have bought it some stuff doesn't fit in it. As an example my hard drives could barely fit in the hard drive cage, on the top there's grills for fans but funny enough the fans don't fit ram is in the way of one fan and CPU power is in the way of the other fan also it's to small for my CPU fan and to small for future video card upgrades which is why I cam here. I would like a case that would fit my block of a cpu heatsink which is a Cooler Master V6GT it's 165mm high also enough room for a video card around the size of a 7970 I prefer anything beside Thermaltake.

CM Storm Stryker, nzxt switch 810, corsair 600t seem perfect for your price range. If holding big hardware inside is your main concern i would go for the nzxt

No problem, if you have problems to decide witch you should buy i recomend you to watch te Overclock3D reviews of the cases in youtube.

for even less money, the fractal design arc midi can hold all that and for later
water-cooling projects a fantastic moddable case.

almost anything.. some of the cases are not really water-cooling friendly (550D)

the latter cases being made are a lot more stuff friendly, but all depends on
what is the now and what is the future of the rig.
