case for 30+cm graphics card?

i need a longer case to fit my new GFX card cooler, recently bought a 4870x2 and it came with an AC xtreme cooler, currently running it inside my m59 case with the stock cooler as its the only cooler that fits and it is idleing at about 75 - 80c on the one core (auto fan speed) i know these run hot but wow.. that is killer, currently sat with it on 40% fan speed for idling so thats about 50c on the one core 44c on the other core, and boy is it LOUD.

i need a case that will support a 30cm+ long GFX card (cooler is around 29.6cm)

rest of my Rig is in my sig, mobo is Micro Atx

what are my options? would prefer it to be as lower priced as i can. would even concider cases that arn't new anymore but could be gotten seccondhand.

I feel your pain when it comes to Micro ATX cases, I'm currently just using a crappy old Jeantech from PC world which i've modded the hell out of to hold 6 HDD's without crushing my OCZ Reapers. I'm going to get a Lian Li PC-8FIB for my rig just for the HDD rack (and it's a much better case) but i dont think it'd fit your card.

I'd reccomend you look at a mini P180, they look like they might hold a pretty beastly card if you were to remove one of the HDD racks. There's also the Lian-Li V354, which is a rather nice cube style case.

For ATX cases, there's a lot of options, and even more if you own a dremel and aren't opposed to modding your shiny new new case. When it comes to enthusiast rigs, there has to be a compromise somewhere, be it getting a case you don't quite like, or cutting bits out of the one you do like.

K62 can't fit a graphics card that long, the hard drive rack gets in the way, although u can unscrew it and bolt it onto the optical drive bays

and kept the hard drive rack in there but then again my cooler was an after market one if its a ref cooler then i doubt it lol

The 280 is like 267mm long

he wants one that can fit a 300+mm card, and K62 only goes up to 290mm

Wait your right, the top 3 PCI slots go into the optical bay.
